Análisis pragmático, sociocultural y cognitivo de una interacción oral en un centro de ayuda a inmigrantes

I wrote this work in 2005 for the course in inter-cultural communication within the master program in Linguistics, in the Autonomous University of Madrid.

In this study, you can read, in Spanish, an analysis in three levels of description (pragmatics, sociolinguistics and cognitive linguistics) of a verbal interaction between a worker in a center of immigrants in Madrid, Spain, and an illegal immigrant who goes to the center for seeking a job.

It is interesting to observe the paternalistic attitude of the worker and, at the same time, how she speaks to him very aloud as if he had a kind of hearing or cognitive problem.
